Stephen Spiea S-a Serr, Tobe Hooper's Poltergeist remains one of the best haunted house movies of all time thanks to a fun and exciting script, characters we care about, and some still-memorable scares and effects. The two sequels that followed up four and six years after aren't held in nearly as high a regard.

We've been looking forward to the new Irish horror flick Nails for some time now, and with the film getting ready to have its world premiere, we now have the trailer for you! Dig it! Bernie Wrightson, the co-creator of DC Entertainment's Swamp Thing and collaborator with Stephen King on a number of projects, has been forced to retire at age 68 due to poor health. The announcement was made by Wrightson's wife Liz on Wrightson's Facebook page Monday morning.

On Friday, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter hits theaters; it's the sixth and reportedly final film in a series that has grossed nearly a billion bucks since its original hit theaters in 2002.
