Posted by Horror Movies News on February 15, 2017

After seeing "Cell" I wanted to call my grandmother who, with the emergence of the world's first iPhone in June of 2007, predicted the end of civilization as we know it. Five months later she passed away, and some of my cousins whispered that perhaps it was the curse of technology that did her in, or she had been hexed by Steve Jobs.

Comedy Duo David Gordon Green and Danny McBride Plan to Do…

Posted by Horror Movies News on February 15, 2017

John Carpenter shocked us all when he revealed last week that not only is the new Halloween movie happening, it already has a director, a screenwriter, and a release date. Mickey Dolenz still gives the crowd what it wants

Posted by Horror Movies News on February 15, 2017

Unlike Peter Tork, who brought a bass guitar into the studio for Monkees recordings, Micky Dolenz had no problem with the idea of being a fake musician. Remembering 1973’s Please Don’t Eat My Mother

Director Roger Corman and writer Charles B. Griffith famously made 1960's Little Shop of Horrors in two days on a few sets and with nothing but sheer filmmaking bravado to back them up. Well, that and a ludicrously-talented cast that included Corman regulars Mel Welles, Jonathan Haze, Jackie Joseph and of course, the great Dick Miller, all riffing along like notes in Fred Katz's jittery jazz score, all having a great time while Corman instinctively married ludicrous comedy, lurid smut and darker strains of psychological horror, a worthy and wonderfully messy companion to Corman and Griffith's similarly wacky 1959 hit A Bucket of Blood .

A couple years ago we were on a trail of an alleged LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT print that was purportedly in Warner Brothers' gigantic film library under the name THE HYPNOTIST, which was an alternate title at the time.
