The next episode of Brainwaves: Horror and Paranormal Talk Radio will be one for the books, kids! Joining us will be Terry Castle, daughter of the great William Castle, whose movies like The Tingler, The House on Haunted Hill, 13 Ghosts, Mr. Sardonicus , et al are forever etched into the hearts of horror fans and into film history. Castle also produced the acclaimed film Rosemary's Baby , which has gone on to infamously be known as one of the most cursed productions ever.

EXCLUSIVE: Writer/director Chuck Russell has come aboard The Seven Sins , which is based on two books from author Jon Land , the stories of which were conceived by Las Vegas entrepreneur Fabrizio Boccardi and was loosely based on something that happened in Bocccardi's own life. The Seven Sins is designed to combine both superhero and thriller elements into one film.

Ottawa's annual celebration of comic book and pop culture is about to turn six and the event's organizers have chosen to celebrate the milestone by going "red." Redheads Gates McFadden, best known as Dr. Beverly Crusher from Star Trek: the Next Generation, Madelaine Petsch, from the hit TV show Riverdale and Ruth Connell, who plays the witch Rowena on the TV show Supernatural, have been added to the event as "featured guests."

WorkSafe's investigation into the Saint Kentigern College production of Sweeney Todd found students had only six days to rehearse using the razor blades. Despite four months of rehearsals, Saint Kentigern students had only six days to practice the throat-cutting scenes in a school play that resulted in "life-threatening" injuries for two students.
