Nicole Kidman is trying to ignore all the fuss surrounding her appearance in a whopping four projects going to the Cannes Film Festival later this month. "I suppose I don't feel like I have four projects there," she says modestly.

A now cult classic Australian horror film about a married couple attempting to salvage their relationship by spending a long weekend camping in untouched forest, was shot on the Far South Coast 40 years ago. Shooting for the Colin Eggleston film Long Weekend took place in May of 1977 at the Tathra Hotel, and in what was then known as Bournda Nature Reserve.

Tim Sanders is producing for Field Theory and film executive Penny Wolf is executive producer. The film is scheduled to shoot in New Zealand in early 2018.

In New York Times Magazine profile, Hollywood's hottest exec also shares his love of Ethan Hawke, Roger Corman and a certain Stoner Hollywood producer Jason Blum seems to have a Midas touch, turning relatively low-budget horror movies like "Split" and "Get Out" into international blockbusters. Through his Blumhouse Films shingle, Blum has made more than 82 movies - may of them low-cost, high-return genre successes such as "Paranormal Activity" and "The Purge."
