The two-time Tony winner assured fans that all was well following the blunder, tweeting: "You may hear I was in a little accident on stage tonight; two set pieces collided, I had to make a run for it, and I fell. Harry Dean Stanton was widely loved around Hollywood, a drinker and smoker and straight talker with a million stories. Harry Dean Stanton, the shambling, craggy-face character actor with the deadpan voice who became a cult favourite through his memorable turns in Paris, Texas , Repo Man and many other films and TV shows, died Friday at age 91. Stanton died of natural causes at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, his agent, John S. Kelly, told The Associated Press.

Harry Dean Stanton, who worked in Hollywood for over 60 years, died Friday afternoon, his agent confirmed. He was 91. "Stanton was beloved in the entertainment industry and quickly earned a reputation as a true pro among directors and his fellow actors with his meticulous preparation and easygoing, adaptable personality," his agent John S. Kelly said in a statement to TheWrap.

You only have to note the fact that we're not all wearing glittery jumpsuits and driving flying cars everywhere to realize that the future painted by science fiction isn't always in line with what the real world has to offer. Nevertheless, it only takes a cursory look at some of the genre's most notable movies and TV shows to see that sometimes sci-fi can get it very right indeed.
