A comic book movie adaptation of Danger Girl is reportedly in the works from the producers of the Hitman and Resident Evil films. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Constantin Film, the company behind the Resident Evil movie franchise, has acquired the film rights to Danger Girl, which follows a globe-trotting adventurer named Abbey Chase.

Wolf Creek actor John Jarratt has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Sydney's east in the 1970s but he "emphatically" denies the claim.
