Though he's currently focused on getting "All The Money In The World" out on time, Ridley Scott always has his biggest claim to fame, the "Alien" series, on his mind. And while his most recent installment of "Alien: Covenant" provided all the face-hugging, chest-bursting madness fans could handle as the Xenomorphs' origins were revealed, Scott thinks that it may be time to move on from the deadly extra-terrestrials.

When director and writer Jordan Peele 's very excellent horror film Get Out debuted earlier this year, its prescient symbolism and social commentary spawned dozens of fan theories online ranging from serious to outlandish. Now, in a video segment for Vanity Fair , Peele addresses the theories head-on, and in doing so, confirmed that he paid homage to Stanley Kubrick's legendary horror film The Shining with an Easter egg hidden in a scene in Get Out .

Armie Hammer and Tom Skerritt will star in the Broadway premiere of Young Jean Lee's dark comedy Straight White Men , directed by Anna D. Shapiro. The previously announced production will begin previews at the Helen Hayes Theatre on June 29, 2018 with an opening slated for July 23. Armie Hammer recently earned an Independent Spirit Nomination for Supporting Actor for his role in the new film Call Me by Your Name .

He's also played Commissioner Gordon in the "Dark Knight" films, played Dracula, played Lee Harvey Oswald, been eaten by Hannibal Lecter and gotten an Academy Award nomination for "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," among many other roles.

This week will bring the first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom , the sequel to the 2015 reboot/sequel in the Jurassic Park franchise. Though some would argue that Jurassic World was a tad underwhelming, much like Star Wars: The Force Awakens , it delivered the right amount of nostalgia mixed with fresh elements to make it feel new again.

Natalya MacDonald-Risner a third-grader from Carpenters Elementary School is making her acting daybut in Charles Dickens 'Christmas Carol" as Tiny- Tim. The play is being performed at the Clarence Brown Theatre on the UT Campus.

Comedian and writer Danny McBride has spoken some more about the "Halloween" mini-reboot that he and director David Gordon Green are working on. As we know it's a direct sequel to John Carpenter's 1978 original, one that ignores all the others, and sees Jamie Lee Curtis returning to the role of Laurie Strode.
