Actor Matt Day needed little reminder that he was working on a hit franchise that has transformed the beauty and isolation of the Australian outback into the perfect setting for a horror movie. Joining the cast for the second season of Greg McLean's outback horror Wolf Creek, the 46-year-old admits there were times he was filled with genuine terror while filming scenes with the infamous gun-wielding serial killer Mick Taylor, eerily brought to life by Australian acting veteran John Jarratt, pictured.

Several times in Steven Spielberg's prolific career, he's released two films within a few months, like "Jurassic Park" in June 1993 and "Schindler's List" that December. Up to this point, the less weighty movie has always come out first, followed by a more serious Oscar contender .
