Less than a week before opening, Ready Player One welcomed the fanboys and fangirls of Wondercon into the world created by author Ernest Cline. The author was joined at the confab by screenwriter Zak Penn, Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Lena Waithe, Ben Mendelsohn, Philip Zhao, and Win Morisaki to talk about the film, but it was mostly a Spielbergian lovefest as they honored the legendary filmmaker whose past films flowed through the veins of this futuristic adventure.

In a 500-channel world where programming demand is sucking Hollywood's creative blood dry, resulting in remakes- S.W.A.T. ! Dynasty ! Lethal Weapon !-the news that AMC was working on a series called The Terror flipped a lot of lids. This film was the most infamously cheapjack production of any of the 400 or so made by penny-ante director Roger Corman.

Sarandon hopes she can make it to a century of years alive because she wants to remain a part of the lives of her three children, her sons Jack, 28, and Miles, 25, with Tim Robbins, and 32-year-old daughter Ava with her ex-husband Franco Amurri, and her grandchildren.

The 62-year-old actress starred as Alice Hardy - the sole survivor in the 1980 cult horror classic - but King returned briefly in the 1981 sequel 'Friday the 13th Part 2', but was brutally murdered in the opening scene by the psychopath Jason Voorhees. However, King never knew that her character would be killed off until the day came to shoot and she revealed she never even got a script.
