For the better part of the year we've heard about casting for the previous "Untitled James Gunn Horror Movie" from Sony Pictures and Screen Gems. Now, the studio has revealed the first trailer for the film which is officially titled BrightBurn .

"What if Superman were Michael Myers?" Sony Pictures has unveiled the first full-length trailer for a sci-fi superhero film titled Brightburn , a new film from director David Yarovesky. Produced by James Gunn, the film is being described as "a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror."

The Contemporary Theater Company of Wakefield, RI has managed a holiday miracle: a highly theatrical version, enjoyable by the whole family, which manages to be both warm and seasonal as well as sharp and intelligent.

Unsurprisingly there's a decent amount of decadence - the late 1970s kind, topped by a geyser of glitter - circulating through Matt Tyrnauer's documentary about the infamous New York discotheque that for two years was the epicentre of nightclubbing. The guest list was stacked, with Bianca Jagger, Andy Warhol, Grace Jones, and Calvin Klein among the regulars, while archival footage reveals a young Michael Jackson extolling to a news reporter the virtues of feeling the freedom to dance, but it turns out that two of the most fascinating participants were co-owners and close but contradictory friends Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager.
