So naturally, fans were a little disappointed when it was announced that a remake or sequel would be coming to the Disney Channel, but that it wouldn't feature the original trio of icons Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy.

That's due to Midsummer Scream - the world's largest Halloween and horror convention - taking place at the Long Beach Convention Center July 28 and 29. The summer event is a prequel to Dark Harbor at The Queen Mary. Guests can experience midsummer haunts, get a peek at upcoming Dark Harbor events and walk the showroom floor, which includes more than 250 vendors selling locally made halloween decorations, costumes, props and more.
