Variety brings word that Zahn McClarnon will be joining Ewan McGregor and Rebecca Ferguson as Crow Daddy in the adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining sequel, Doctor Sleep . Carl Lumbly and Alex Essoe have also been cast in the Warner Bros.

Hillary Clinton and Steven Spielberg are joining together to produce a new TV drama about the spirited battle by American women to win the right to vote. The program, to be either a TV movie or a limited series, will be based on "The Woman's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote," the acclaimed book by Elaine Weiss, published by Viking.

There's a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming Halloween movie, so any piece of news or info that arises is at the very least worthy of interest. Such is the case with today's news that not only is Halloween rated R, but the MPAA has designated it as such due to "horror violence and bloody images, language, brief drug use and nudity."

Photo: Reuters A distressed kangaroo leapt over a 2.2 metre wall at a shelter on Tuesday and escaped into a forest after having been rescued from a home he had crashed into in the southern Australian city of Melbourne two days earlier.
