Do you want to do something this Christmas season that is just plain old-fashioned family building and fun? Sit down all together and watch "It's a Wonderful Life." I have been watching Frank Capra's 1940 film during Christmas season as long as I can remember, so much so that I have a few of the scenes memorized.

Shock Treatment , Richard O'Brien's 1981 flop sequel to the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show , will be adapted for the London stage this spring. Directed by Benji Sperring and adapted for the stage by Tom Crowley, Shock Treatment , a dark satire of game shows and television, will begin previews April 17 and officially open April 21 at the King's Head Theatre, where it is scheduled to run through May 9, 2015.

" People have many addictions... " Just after we learned that Spike Lee's crowd-funded indie Da Sweet Blood of Jesus would arrive on Valentine's Day weekend next year, the first trailer has arrived, and this certainly looks like a peculiar film. Honestly, it almost feels like Spike Lee made a film with Cary Fukunaga with this grounded story of a man addicted to blood.

The last "Hobbit" film , " The Hobbit : The Battle of the Five Armies," hits theaters in a couple of weeks, and with its release, the story of Bilbo Baggins 's adventure will be over . So how will the "Hobbit" movie series be remembered? As the inevitably inferior younger sibling of the critically acclaimed and box office smash " Lord of the Rings " trilogy, or as its own satisfying movie series? The "Hobbit" film trilogy always had a lot to live up to.

Call it whatever you want, but there's no denying that the hairstyle most commonly known as the mullet is a truly remarkable thing, worn by those with the balls to wear it and revered by those who will never know what it truly means to have a business meeting in the front and a bitchin' party in the back. In tribute to "The Walking Dead's" Eugene and that head of hair that instantly told us all he's not really a scientist, we thought it might be fun to take a look back at some other epic mullets that have graced our screens over the years.

Fans of a certain age won't have any trouble remembering when the Bowman Body, Elvira and other kings and queens of late-night TV introduced the seven films in this fun set to willing audiences of wide-eyed adolescents. It was practically a rite of passage, but nostalgia is just part of the appeal.

To the boomer generation, seeing Bob Hope on TV or in the movies was like spending time with cranky relatives. Sure, there were a lot of great memories - the World War II shows, the "Road" movies with Bing Crosby - but it also was a little stale, and the jokes, well, they were ancient or worse.
