Lawyers for filmmaker Roman Polanski are seeking to have a case involving a 1977 charge of unlawful sex with a 13-year-old girl dismissed, U.S. newspapers reported on Tuesday. Polanski's lawyers are seeking a hearing to decide whether misconduct and a "false" extradition request sent by the U.S. Justice Department to the Polish government on Oct. 28 requires the case to be dismissed, the Los Angeles Times reported.

If you go out to see "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" this week, you will be looking at some of the handiwork of Kory Juul, a 36-year-old graduate of Walsingham Academy. The film, which opens on Tuesday, is the latest in director Peter Jackson's blockbuster J.R.R. Tolkien franchise, which began with the "Lord of the Rings" triliogy and has continued now with three "Hobbit" films.

"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" takes us to a mystical land in the hills where an ill-tempered group of back-stabbing hairy dwarf-men are sitting on a huge hoard of gold. It's much like Hollywood, only with Thorin Oakenshield instead of Scott Rudin.

At the end of the second season, it appeared that it would have been difficult to develop a third season based on the number of characters killed off.

Kong: Skull Island , as it is now dubbed, was announced earlier this year at the San Diego Comic-con and has The Avengers' big-bad Tom Hiddleston i n the lead role. According to The Wrap , the upcoming film sees a group of explorers, led by Hiddleston's character, arrive on the notorious Skull Island as part of a biological expedition.
