The new year at the box office is off to a solid start thanks to holiday holdovers and newcomer "The Woman in Black 2: The Angel of Death." The third and final installment of "The Hobbit" series topped the box office for the third weekend in a row, according to studio estimates.

While anxious viewers await the return of Gotham tomorrow night with "Rogues' Gallery", breakout star Robin Lord Taylor made the rounds to discuss his portrayal of the legendary Batman franchise villain. The actor shares other career news as well: in a Jan. 2 Newsday interview, Taylor mentions a potential sequel to the 2012 torture flick " Would You Rather ": "There are some things coming along, and I did a horror film called 'Would You Rather' that was bought by IFC , and they want a sequel."

For those keeping track, the newly annual tradition of each film year opening with a horror sequel continues, thanks to the release of The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death . But I should mention that, beyond the presence of the titular ghost, director Tom Harper's follow-up doesn't share many traits with the original.

Joseph Reginella decided to make the cot because he's a huge fan of the hit Steven Spielberg movie about a killer shark which terrorises the town of Amity Island. Mikey's dad Mark Melaccio was complicit in the making of the terrifying crib, which recreates the film's famous boat attack scene.
