Bloody Disgusting Selects Picks Up Lucky McKee’s The Woman

The Bloody Disgusting Selects series continues to add titles to its stable of horror movies. The latest is The Woman, directed by respected genre filmmaker Lucky McKee (Red, May, The Woods). The Woman is a sequel to the cannibal film Offspring, which was based on the Jack Ketchum novel of the same name and was one of the 2009 Ghost House Underground releases. Unlike Offspring, The Woman, about the last surviving member of a cannibal family (Pollyanna McIntosh, reprising her role) who is taken in by a lawyer who thinks he can “civilize” her, will receive a limited theatrical run — presumably sometime this fall.
