Hatchet 3 on the Way!

Despite its poor theatrical performance and unceremonious yanking from theaters by AMC in October of last year, Hatchet II won’t be the end of that slasher franchise. That’s right, the axe — er, hatchet — will be back for Hatchet 3, which has been greenlit by Dark Sky Films. Hatchet II‘s strong performance on home video propelled the decision to continue the story of a young woman (Danielle Harris in the second film, Tamara Feldman in the first) seeking vengeance on legendary swamp-dwelling serial killer Victor Crowley for the murder of her father and brother.
