Colin Firth, Vampire?

While it had previously been mentioned that new Best Actor Oscar-winner Colin Firth (The King’s Speech) would star in Oldboy director Park Chan-Wook’s English-language debut Stoker, what hadn’t been reported is that he will be playing a vampire. At least, that’s according to The Daily Mail, which claims that the story — written by Wentworth Miller (Resident Evil: Afterlife, Prison Break) — was inspired by the classic novel Dracula. Firth will reportedly play the title character Stoker, a mysterious man who arrives in town to console his teenage niece (played by Alice in Wonderland‘s Mia Wasikowska) after her father’s death. Nicole Kidman will play the girl’s mother.
