Fourth Twilight Movie to Be Split into Two?

Those of you who can’t get enough of the Twilight movies might end up getting more than you thought: that is, five movies instead of four. Author Stephenie Meyer has long stated that she thinks that the story in Breaking Dawn, the fourth (and so far, final) book in the series is so long that it’s hard to imagine it being adapted into a single movie, and it appears that Summit Entertainment is starting to agree with her. (And really, the Twilight films are the studio’s meal ticket right now, so any extra cash it can squeeze out of them will go a long way to keeping it afloat until it can find the next big thing.)
Doing so, however, hinges largely on getting the cast to agree to shoot an additional pic. I can’t foresee that being too big of a hurdle (especially with the inevitable bump in pay), but judging from some of their awkward interviews, I do get the sense that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are getting about as sick of all the attention as Twilight detractors are.
If things do go the two film route, it’s conceivable that Breaking Dawn(s) would film in 2010 for release in summer 2011 and 2012 — just in time for the apocalypse. The third film in the series, Eclipse, has already finished shooting and will hit screens on June 30, 2010.
