PS PUBLISHING Announces New Line of Books: PS Showcase
Posted by Horror Fiction News Network on September 12, 2007 PS PUBLISHING has announced a new book line titled, PS SHOWCASE. The first book in the line will be Sanity and Other Delusions (http://www.pspublishing.co.uk/cat/s1saod.asp) by GARY FRY. The idea is to put out a series of mini story-collections - priced as per our novellas at £10 / $20 (approx.) for the hardcover and £25 / $50 (approx.) for the signed, jacketed hardcover - from writers whom we believe are deserving of more attention.More from PS PUBLISHING on PS SHOWCASE I'm particularly excited about this new venture because it ties in with one of my greatest loves: comic books. In 1956, DC Comics' Julius Schwartz started a new title called Showcase, and in that comic book he launched re-workings of characters such as The Flash and Green Lantern onto a world that had grown just a little bored with super heroes. It was a huge success and those characters - plus many others launched in the title - went on to become mainstays of the comic book industry. We're hoping that, in our own small way, we may be able to do the same sort of thing with PS Showcase.
