Longtime WWE wrestler Kane, known in street clothes as Glenn Jacobs, has won the race to become the new mayor of Knox County, Tennessee which is the state's third largest county. The Associated Press reports that Jacobs, 50, beat Democratic challenger Linda Haney by a wide-margin with most precincts reporting on Thursday, Aug. 2. The man known as the "Big Red Machine" and long-thought dead brother of the Undertaker in the WWE won his spot in the election after winning the Republican primary by 23 votes back in May. The news organization reports that results of the primary election from earlier this year were delayed by alleged "malicious" cyberattacks to the county's website.

Director and co-writer Susanna Fogel has trouble achieving a tonal balance between the comedy and the action, which only grows increasingly glaring over the course I am not entirely certain that something as shabbily constructed and artistically bankrupt as this actually qualifies as a movie in the first place. "The Ballad of Narayama" is a Japanese film of great beauty and elegant artifice, telling a story of startling cruelty.
