Ten years after Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman were terrorized by Pin-Up Girl, Dollface, and The Man in Mask in 2008's "The Strangers," the trio returns to menace a new family in director Johannes Roberts tribute to John Carpenter. "The Strangers: Prey at Night" is the trailer park version of "Halloween" minus the smart screenplay and authentic characters.

Cleveland Play House Artistic Director Laura Kepley announced the 2018-2019 Season today to a standing-room-only gathering in the Allen Theatre at Playhouse Square. "This season will inspire and invigorate our loyal patron base and introduce new audiences to what CPH does best -- tell stories that matter in productions that are imaginative, thrilling, and entertaining," said Kepley.

For much of the 20th century, the phone booth was a steadfast and essential installation of modern life, from bustling cities to tumbleweed-strewn desert gas stations. Tippi Hedren was attacked in one in "The Birds," Clark Kent frequently changed to Superman in one and Bill & Ted used one to time-travel on their excellent adventure.

' Baskerville" was confounded by a midweek mystery: Where did all that snow come from? Wednesday's nor'easter postponed the play's press opening until Thursday, when its scenes of cold, windy weather in England's West Country were particularly resonant in New Haven County. Who's that darn hound who's been attacking folks on the moors? Or is it a dog? No, it looks like a man.
