In the 2000s, Western audiences gained more exposure to Asian horror films through Hollywood remakes starring western actresses like Naomi Watts, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Jennifer Connelly. Kickstarted by the commercial success of The Ring, the remake machine quickly went into overdrive and eventually sputtered out.

Producer-entrepreneur Oren Koules, whose credits include the sitcom "Two and a Half Men" and the "Saw" horror films, has listed a beachfront home in Ventura that elicits a much different reaction than the horror franchise. Listed for $4.99 million, the house boasts ocean views from two levels and 45 feet of beach frontage.

This may come as a shock, but I kind of love zombie movies. I know this whole series is based on the fact that I wouldn't touch a horror movie with a 30-inch pole, but I would gladly double-tap on any zombie movie.

When two Long Island friends went to see Richard Dreyfuss in the 2004 Broadway production of "Sly Fox," they weren't expecting such a close encounter with the Oscar winner. But after the show, they were invited to visit the "Jaws" actor backstage, where he allegedly pawed at the women and "grabbed" one on her backside, they told the Daily News.
