Bruce Campbell, who has achieved cult super-star status thanks to his roles in "The Evil Dead" franchise is on a 40-city tour promoting his latest book, "Hail to the Chin". The book chronicles more of Campbell's unorthodox but hugely successful career, a follow-up to his 2002 autobiography, "If Chins Could Kill".

Martin Scorsese launches online film course

The legendary director - whose movies include 'Goodfellas,' 'Raging Bull,' 'Taxi Driver,' 'Casino,' 'Cape Fear,' 'The Aviator' and 'The Wolf of Wall Street - has joined forces with online-education startup MasterClass for the new class, which will begin in 2018. Students will pay $90 for unlimited access to over 20 video classes in which Scorsese will lecture on filmmaking and provide select feedback.

The 91-year-old actor and filmmaker helmed the 1974 Gene Wilder movie - which is a parody of the classic horror film genre - and admitted the laughter from the crew would often spoil filming so he made them stuff their mouths with handkerchiefs when they wanted to laugh. Speaking on 'The Jonathan Ross Show', Brooks said: "I don't want to brag but laughter from the crew would actually often spoil a scene in 'Young Frankenstein'.

Steven Spielberg has won three Academy Awards, grossed over $9 billion at the box office, established himself as a film icon and on Wednesday, he received a promotion. The director was moved from board member to CEO of his own production company, Amblin Partners, after a disappointing first half of 2017.
