Last week we lost the legendary writer, producer and director George A. Romero , the sweet, brilliant and humble indie auteur who defined the zombie genre twice, first with the groundbreaking 1968 film Night of the Living Dead and its bloody successor, 1978's Dawn of the Dead . But on August 6th, seminal Toronto repertory theater The Royal will honor the legacy of Toronto resident Romero with a special screening of his 2009 film - his final feature - Survival of the Dead .

No, the screen wasn't possessed and the electricity was fine - it just meant it was time for the Stranger Things panel at 2017's Comic-Con International in San Diego. The highly anticipated second season drops October 27, 2017 on the Netflix streaming service just in time for Halloween.

DAVAO Representative Karlo Nograles is hopeful that President Rodrigo Duterte will prioritize House bills which seek to address the current traffic crisis. Nograles and his brother, Pwersa ng Bayaning Atleta party-list Representative Jericho Rosales, have recently filed House Bill 6009, also known as the Transport Network Service Act.

One of the most exciting parts about the upcoming season of Stranger Things , Netflix's breakout hit series, is seeing what kind of retro stars they can get to appease Generation X's love of nostalgia. Season 1 had Winona Ryder; Season 2 has added Paul Reiser , best known as Paul Buchman on the hit '90s sitcom, Mad About You , and of course recognizable to genre fans as Burke from Aliens .

Dinosaurs are often depicted in movies as ferocious predators, capable of travelling at a breakneck speed and chasing down their prey. In movie "Jurassic Park," a Tyrannosaurus rex was also seen running behind a speedy vehicle.
