‘Hellboy’ reboot could be on the horizon, Lionsgate in talks to produce the film

Writer and artist Mike Mignola, who created the "Hellboy" comics, is working with British director Neil Marshall on the project, which doesn't yet have a studio behind it. Marshall would take the reigns from master director Guillermo del Toro, who helmed the first "Hellboy" film and its sequel, "Hellboy 2: The Golden Army," in 2004 and 2008.

Multi-talented singer-songwriter Chris Isaak returns to the Monterey Peninsula.

Universal Cable Productions today announced an overall development deal with John Carpenter, the celebrated director of horror films including "Halloween," "The Thing," and "Escape from New York." Under the new deal, Carpenter will executive produce scripted programming with UCP for the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment portfolio, as well as for external networks and streaming services, along with his producing partner, Sandy King, under their Storm King Productions banner.

Actor Steve Coogan has warned that schools are at "crisis point" as he joined children outside Downing Street to call for government to plug a growing funding gap. The 51-year-old star, along with Save Our Schools campaigners and MPs including Green Party co-leader Caroline Lucas, delivered over 10,000 messages from young children to Number 10.
