Here's something I didn't see coming: Scream star Neve Campbell has signed on to star in Skyscraper , the new Dwayne Johnson -led action film from Dodgeball and Central Intelligence director Rawson Marshall Thurber . Plus, there's a new synopsis that fills in a bit more of the movie's plot, which involves Johnson's character's quest to rescue his family from a burning building.

The Mummy reboot has not exactly been inundated with sparkling reviews since it was released earlier this year, and particular aim has been taken at Tom Cruise who replaced the beloved Brendan Fraser in the lead. So who better than Fraser himself who played Rick O'Connell in three instalments of The Mummy franchise to add his very own review to the mix, writing on Funny or Die that in The Mummy Reboot there was simply "not enough Brendan Fraser".

Same film, different day. Stop us if you've heard this one: gaggle of pretty young people drive to isolated cabin in the woods to party, drink, drug and screw and suddenly some sort of evil is unleashed that makes them turn feral and turn on each other.

With the testing fifth and sixth episodes of the new Twin Peaks running high on bloody violence, operatic tragedy and a preponderance of oddball slapstick, Tom Huddleston wonders if David Lynch is messing with us. David Lynch isn't the first filmmaker to push a joke to the point where it stops being funny.

Following on from the 2015 revival Jurassic World, the new dinosaur adventure is due for release in June 2018 and its title and logo have now made their debut. The film's tagline has also been revealed as "Life finds a way", offering fans scope for speculation about the plot.

Henry 'Hank' Deutschendorf, one of the infant twins who portrayed Baby Oscar Barrett in 1989's Ghostbusters II , has passed away. This news was confirmed by Hank's twin brother William T. Deutschendorf, who revealed that Hank lost his fight against schizoaffective disorder on Wednesday, June 14th and took his own life.
