Actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger almost ditched his most famous role as The Terminator! He wrote in his book, Total Recall , about a conversation he had with director James Cameron, which he said, "I told him that being cast as an evil villain wasn't going to help my career. It was something I could do later on, but right now I should keep playing heroes so that people would get used to me being a heroic character."

As if Jaws wasn't scary enough on land, how about watching the movie while floating in an inner tube, your feet dangling in the waters of Lake Travis? Leander's Volente Beach Water Park, just off Interstate 35 near Austin, is offering its Jaws on the Water dive-in presentation starting at 6 p.m. Friday. The water park is partnering with Alamo Drafthouse and FandangoNOW to present the screenings.

Jake Busey has revealed to The Red Booth that his role in 20th Century Fox and Shane Black 's sequel The Predator is, in fact, the son of his dad Gary Busey's Peter Keyes character from Predator 2 ! "[Shane Black] called me and he said 'Hey, you wanna do this movie? We don't have money for you but it'll be a fun thing to come play and be your father's son,'" Busey said. "And so as much as I have followed in my Dad's footsteps career-wise, this is like really following in his footsteps by playing a character who is the son of the character he played.

Annette O’Toole Joins the Traveling Lady, Extending at Cherry Lane

Horton Foote's The Traveling Lady , directed by Austin Pendleton, opened on June 22 and was originally set to run through July 16, 2017, has been extended and will now run through July 30, 2017 at Cherry Lane Theatre . The producers also announce that Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Annette O'Toole will join the cast in the role of Sitter Mavis, currently played by Karen Ziemba, who is leaving this production to begin rehearsal of The Prince of New York.

Hellboy Reboot Director Talks Effects and R Rating

Hellboy reboot director Neil Marshall has spoken to Mick Garris on the great Post Mortem podcast about his plans for Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen , including a liberal application of practical effects as well as why the film will be rated R. "It's definitely going to be as practical as we can possibly make it," said Marshall, who has used loads of on-set effects work on films like The Descent , Dog Soldiers and Doomsday . "I love to do stuff in camera whenever I possibly can, and use CG as the amazing tool that it is, to enhance or expand upon the world, but not to use it to replace reality, when you can do it [for] real."
