MORE than 200 jobs are being created in and around Stafford as big brands announce store openings and old favourites expand. Discount supermarket Aldi will create 40 jobs when it opens at the empty Kingsmead development in the autumn while Homesense, which is likely to open at the Queen's Retail Park in June, is taking on 50 workers.

The New York Pops orchestra is returning to Forest Hills Stadium with a concert featuring the works of "Star Wars" composer John Williams, organizers said. The concert, scheduled for June 8, will feature some of the best-known scores written by Williams, who composed music for nearly all of Steven Spielberg's films, from "Jaws" and "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" to "Indiana Jones," "Schindler's List," "Lincoln" and "Jurassic Park."

HARRY Potter star Daniel Radcliffe heads the cast of the National Theatre Live production of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead which will be broadcast live at Cardigan's Theatr Mwldan on Thursday April 20 at 7pm. Radcliffe , Joshua McGuire and David Haig star in Tom Stoppard's brilliantly funny situation comedy, broadcast live from The Old Vic theatre in London.
