Gary Goldman accused Walt Disney of copying from his script without his permission, Walt Disney Co was sued on Tuesday by a longtime Hollywood screenwriter and producer who accused the studio of copying its blockbuster, Oscar-winning animated film Zootopia from his work without permission. Gary Goldman, whose credits include the Arnold Schwarzenegger film Total Recall and Tom Cruise film Minority Report, filed his copyright infringement lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.

If you're a Spaghetti Western fan or just a reader who is well-schooled in international cinema's finest actors, you'll know the name Tomas Milian. Sadly, we've just learned that the beloved Cuban American/Italian actor and singer passed away yesterday at the age of 84. Milian honed his craft under legendary NYC teacher Lee Strasberg and applied that training when acting a myriad amazing genre films in Europe throughout the 1960s, including the savage gore western Django Kill , the humorous Run, Man, Run and Tepepa as well as cult favorites Companeros , Four of the Apocalypse, Almost Human and Don't Torture a Duckling .

Axis Company has announced that Randy Sharp, who has won acclaim for directing Edgar Oliver's celebrated trilogy of solo performances charting his life in New York City, will stage a new production of Dead End, Sidney Kingsley's seminal play about kids growing on the streets of the City during the Great Depression. Dead End was a hit when it premiered on Broadway in 1935, introducing a group of young actors who went on to appear in the film adaptation, starring Humphrey Bogart, and numerous other movies under monikers such as the Dead End Kids, the Little Tough Guys, the East Side Kids and the Bowery Boys.

The 50-year-old actress - who is currently on screen in HBO sitcom 'Big Little Lies' - will join the Twilight alumnus in the title that will tell the story of Savannah Knoop, who tricked the rich, famous and elite in Hollywood and the literary and fashion worlds into believing she was a transgender man known as Jeremiah "Terminator" LeRoy, or JT LeRoy for short. JY LeRoy was, in fact, a literary persona created by Knoop's sister, the writer Laura Albert, in her 1999 debut novel 'Sarah'.

The government-backed event announced this week that it will screen a special retrospective of the work of David Lynch during its 7th edition, which runs April 16-23 in the Chinese capital. Lynch films to be included in the program include Eraserhead , The Elephant Man , Blue Velvet , Lost Highway , The Straight Story , Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire - none of which were previously exhibited theatrically in the country.
