The actor who played the role of Sheriff McClelland in the 1968 cult zombie film, "Night of the Living Dead," has died. George Kosana was 81. Longtime friend John Russo says Kosana was found dead Friday in his home in Clairton, Pennsylvania, after friends said he was not returning telephone calls.

It was 1996 and Debbie Reynolds hadn't done a movie for 25 years when she was cast in Albert Brooks' comedy, "Mother." She was delighted and surprised to find herself emoting in front of the camera again and sat down with me for an hour to talk about it.

While nothing has been nailed down as strong as a good cup of joe, Deadline has learned that there have been discussions for the new version of the acclaimed ABC 1990s TV series to be showcased at the Robert Redford founded fest - which has increasingly seen a larger and larger small screen presence.
