"Friday the 13th" -- the iconic 1980 horror film that introduced the world to masked killer Jason Voorhees -- was famously filmed in and around the northern Warren County town. And once again , the movie will be screened for enthusiastic audiences in the town where it was shot.

Death Waltz Recording Company will reissue a double-vinyl version of the score to David Lynch's 1992 film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me on January 25th. US composer and longtime David Lynch collaborator Angelo Badalamenti, who also scored Mulholland Drive and the Twin Peaks series, crafted the influential ambient soundtrack, which appeared on CD, vinyl and cassette in the '90s.

Disney and Lucasfilm's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and 20th Century Fox's Hidden Figures are in a race for the top spot at the domestic box office that is still too close to call. According to Disney, Rogue One earned $22 million this weekend, while 20th Century Fox is saying Hidden Figures earned $21.8 million.

"Hidden Figures" and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" had a neck-and-neck weekend but the "Star Wars" sequel still came in first place. Fox's "Hidden Figures," starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae, earned an estimated $21.8 million in its first wide release weekend, while "Rogue One" pushed ahead slightly with estimates of $22 million.
