Half a century after its premiere on The Old Vic stage, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, the play that made a young Tom Stoppard 's name overnight, returns to The Old Vic in its 50th anniversary celebratory production.

Director David Glass is to direct students from Arts University Bournemouth BA Hons Acting, Costume and Performance Design, and Make-up for Media and Performance courses in a unique collaborative performance inspired by The Shining by Stephen King and Stanley Kubrick's film of the classic horror novel, which was released in 1980 starring Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall. Fans of the film will be thrilled that the performances take place at The Chine Hotel in Boscombe, which is closed for the winter - just like the Overlook Hotel in the film.
