More than 20 years after his death Whitstable's late acting veteran Peter Cushing has returned to the silver screen - but not without controversy. Appearing in the Star Wars spin off Rogue One, Cushing's character Moff Tarkin has been recreated using high-tech computer generated imagery .

The two actresses, who died within a day of each other this week, are the subjects of a new HBO documentary, Bright Lights: Starring Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher . After originally being scheduled to air in March, the film is now expected to premiere in the first half of 2017.
