Scene One Theatre presents “Evil Dead: The Musical”

As Halloween approaches, Scene One Theatre in Jefferson City is preparing to give patrons a round of thrills, chills and giggles in its production of "The Evil Dead: The musical." "The Evil Dead" is a musical stage play based on the 1980s movie written and directed by Sam Raimi.

It has been announced that multi award-winning Ricky Gervais, one of the most popular comedy performers of the 21st century, is set to appear at the Theatre Royal Bath on Sunday, December 4 at 7.30pm. Comedian, actor, director, producer, and writer, Ricky Gervais shot to fame in the hugely acclaimed series The Office, starring as David Brent, across two series in 2001 and 2002 followed by a two-part Christmas Special in 2003.

You can enjoy eight frighteners on the big screen at the 19th Street Theatre in Allentown and the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. The fun begins at Theatre514 with "Hotel Transylvania" at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 15. The Adam Sandler cartoon is a slight but enjoyable monster mash that finds Count Dracula presiding over a vacation hot spot for his ghoulish buddies, including the Wolf Man, the Mummy and the Invisible Man.
