While we're all busy looking ahead towards the release of Ridley Scott 's Prometheus follow-up Alien: Covenant and Neill Blomkamp 's much talked about Alien sequel, it was nice to switch gears for a little and take a moment to look back at one of the films that started it all, James Cameron 's Aliens , which celebrated its 30th anniversary at San Diego Comic-Con 2016.

'Jason' to thrill El Paso horror fans The actor who portrayed the hocky-masked slasher in "Friday the 13th" will make an appearance at Alamo Drafthouse. "Ash vs Evil Dead's" and "Blunt Talk's" Season 2 premiere dates were announced Monday during the Starz portion of the Television Critics Association summer press tour. Both shows are set to return on Oct. 2, with "Ash vs Evil Dead" airing at 8 p.m. and "Blunt Talk" following immediately after at 8:35.

Jason Lives represents the sixth chapter of the Camp Crystal Lake saga, so we felt it fitting to offer six reasons why it's the highlight of the Friday the 13th canon. Though the horror version of a defibrillator, James Bond open, and hairy turns were all amazing, they didn't bring enough to the table to make the cut.

Movie fans will be able to get their hands on some seriously cool memorabilia next month, when an epic auction takes place in the UK. Over 500 lots of rare film and TV swag, worth more than 1.5 million, are set to be sold at London's BFI IMAX.
