Local artist Anne McGuire , whose work has been shown at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Getty Center in Los Angeles, says she's long been fascinated by Bay Area filmmaker Philip Kaufman 's 1978 remake of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," from its time capsule depiction of San Francisco to its bleak ending - which she is now changing. McGuire has meticulously re-edited the film shot by shot in reverse order and calls it "Snatchers Body the of Invasion."

Corey Haim's mother has reportedly slammed Corey Feldman for trying to contact her dead son through a psychic on a TV show. The former child actor passed away on 10 March, 2010, due to a combination of heart problems, pneumonia and blood flow issues.

The Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day: James Cameron, Sigourney Weaver and half of Lance Henriksen during the making of ALIENS! Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with our final Aliens BTS image... probably not of all time since I still have a few really choice shots from the making of that film in the archives, but definitely of this run of goodies provided by the folks at Titan Books in celebration of the release of their rather awesome release of Aliens: The Set Photography. We've had two great BTS shots, but in my humble opinion I saved the best for last.

Eddie Murphy has said he is sure he will win an Academy Award in the future, and he even has a place set aside for it in his home. The Dr. Doolittle star revealed his Oscar ambition saying he will "be around for a while" so there is plenty of time for him to achieve the feat, even if it comes near the end of his career in the Lifetime Achievement category.
