Todd McFarlane seems to coincidentally drop information regarding his long gestating " Spawn " reboot whenever a new "Wolverine" film is in development. With news that "Wolverine 3" or "Old Man Logan" is on the cards for a March 3, 2017 release, it's only natural that McFarlane has revealed new information on " Spawn " in the past few weeks.

Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that J.K. Simmons has been cast as the new Commissioner Gordon for the DC Extended Universe movies. The Oscar-winning actor will play the iconic Gotham City character starting with The Justice League Part One , the all-star superhero blockbuster due in November of next year.

It all started when Kim Kardashian West posted a completely nude selfie on Monday, prompting the 70-year-old legend and reigning queen of Twitter shade to quip, "If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera." Kim, who seemingly received a crash course in Twitter ranting from husband Kanye West, fired back, tweeting, "Hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding."

Actor Terence Stamp answered audience questions on Aug. 2 before a screening of "Poor Cow," the opening night film of the Ken Loach film series at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Stamp will return to BAM, 30 Lafayette Ave. at Ashland Place, for more questions on Aug. 14 after the 6:50 pm screening of William Wyler's 1965 psychological thriller "The Collector."

Fox is ramping up the villains of Gotham with the inclusion of one of the oldest recurring antagonists from the Batman comics: Hugo Strange. And it's not like Strange will be a once-and-done villain, the way that many of the episodic criminals made from whole cloth in the first season happened to be; you don't get an actor of BD Wong's talent to show up for an hour and then never see him again.
