A classic Christmas film chock-full of reptilian mayhem is coming to Bay City's Historic Masonic Temple to put you in the mood of the season. As the latest installment in the Midnight Monster Movie Series, the original "Gremlins" is screening at 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and midnight on Saturday, Nov. 21, inside the Blue Room of the Historic Masonic Temple, 700 N. Maybe it's a case of something you dread - CGI chipmunks, those voices, Bella Thorne - turning out to be not nearly so bad as you'd imagined, but the fourth installment of the "Alvin and the Chipmunks" juggernaut really wasn't so bad. Vin Diesel and his company, One Race Productions, has signed a first-look producing deal with Universal Television, Universal announced Wednesday. One Race, founded in 1995 by writer, director, producer and actor Diesel, has produced the four highest-grossing films in the "Fast and Furious" franchise: "Furious 7," "Fast and Furious 6," "Fast Five" as well as "Fast & Furious."
