Veteran Swedish filmmaker and author Stig Bjorkman met actress Isabella Rosselini at the Berlin Film Festival in 2011. During a casual conversation, the daughter of Ingrid Bergman turned to Bjorkman and said "shall we make a film about mama?" Four years later, "Ingrid Bergman: In Her Own Words" opened to strong reviews at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received special mention in the Golden Eye category.

MUMBAI: Vin Diesel's One Race Television is partnering with Universal Television on a multi-year, first-look production deal. One Race, founded in 1995 by writer, director, producer and actor Diesel, has produced the four highest-grossing films in the seven film Fast franchise - Furious 7, Fast and Furious 6, Fast Five as well as Fast & Furious.

The murder of the homecoming queen, Laura Palmer, in a fictional north-western logging town twisted off into all sorts of gnostic directions: red rooms and dancing dwarfs and omnipresent owls. The trailer for the show's return, which is set 25 years after second series limped to a rather inglorious end, opens with fog lifting on fir tree cladded mountains and gushing waterfalls.
