Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox is set to become the latest actor to tackle Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The transgender actress will take on the role of the "sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania" in a new TV production of Richard O'Brien's cult movie musical.

PHOTOGRAPHS, film memorabilia and artwork from one of the most glittering careers in film have netted almost A 780,000 at auction. More than 460 items from the family archive of legendary film actor and director Lord Richard Attenborough have been sold at auction at Bonhams this week.

" A stolen totem pole that went from the garden decor of two golden age Hollywood actors to the basement of a Hawaii museum will be returned Thursday to Alaska tribal members. Screen legend John Barrymore was traveling the Alaska coast by yacht and directed crew members to take the totem pole from an unoccupied village in 1931, said University of Alaska Anchorage professor Steve Langdon, who has long researched the object.

Eli Roth was strolling past gore-covered zombie soldiers on a recent evening, the sound of terrified shrieking in his ears, a look of pure joy on his face. "Dead soldiers - wow, they sure crossed the boundaries of taste with that one," he said appreciatively as he walked through one of the "scare zones" at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights.
