There have been 30 odd live-action and animated film versions of the classic Alexandre Dumas swashbuckler - not to mention BBC1's ongoing adaptation, now renewed for a third series. However, this entry from Paul WS Anderson was the first to be presented in 3D, proving that Athos, Aramis, Porthos and D'Artagnan have come a long way.

Corina Bange, of Littlestown, gets a zombie makeover by makeup artist MiChele Williams, with the special effects company Paramedic Zombies on Saturday for Timeline Arcade's first Arcade Horror Fest in Hanover. If you saw a zombie in Hanover on Aug. 1, don't worry.

Mary Badham, the Oscar-nominated actress who portrayed Scout in the beloved movie "To Kill a Mockingbird," disagrees with critics about the new Harper Lee release, "Go Set a Watchman." Critics have been quick to pan "Go Set a Watchman," saying it portrays Scout's father, Atticus, as a racist.

Based on Nancy Pickard's book, the film stars Maika Monroe, best known from her role in the horror sleeper hit "It Follows," and soon to be seen in "Independence Day: Resurgence." Also joining the cast are Maggie Grace and Brad Carter of the forthcoming "Black Mass," the Johnny Depp gangster vehicle about Whitey Bulger.
