After taking the summer box office by storm with more than $1.5 billion globally, the "Jurassic World" dinosaurs will be getting a sequel slated for June 22, 2018, Comcast Corp's Universal Pictures said Thursday. "Jurassic World," which rebooted Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park" dinosaur franchise in June, has become the third highest-grossing film in history, behind only James Cameron's "Titanic" and "Avatar."

The Newell Theatre in Quirk Cultural Center has been a zombie training ground for the past couple of months, as ANTIC gets ready to open "Night of the Living Dead," which opens July 31 and plays Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. through Aug. 15. "I am a nurse who works at night, so I know how it feels to be half dead," said Siebenhaar, who makes her stage debut with this show as Dr. Grimes and as a zombie. "My husband [Claus, who also is in the show as Bill Bardough] lives zombies.

Appearing at London Comic Con last week, Sigourney Weaver spoke about her history with Fox's "Alien" franchise and seemingly suggested that Fox's early plans to make "Alien vs. Predator" back before "Alien 3" in 1993, was what caused Ridley Scott to drop out of the project and what made her decide to kill off the Ellen Ripley character. Now Peter Briggs, who penned the original "Alien vs. Predator" spec script back in 1991 has responded to the criticism in a letter to Bloody Disgusting .
