Sharks that attack humans have usually not fully figured out the difference between seals and humans; they are adolescents, not yet full-size, but thus more dangerous to humans than full-grown sharks. The Mail & Guardian published a nice piece of writing by Jonathan Jones about surfer Mick Fanning's escape from what we must presume, given the size of the dorsal fin captured on camera, was a great white shark .

To the surprise of no one, Universal Orlando confirmed Thursday that The Walking Dead will return to Halloween Horror Nights for the fourth year in a row. The AMC zombie drama has been one of the most popular mazes at HHN, built in close collaboration with the creators of the series.

The Birds star, who is the president of the Roar Foundation charity and runs a big cat sanctuary in rural California, is one of the many celebrities who have spoken out against Dr. Walter Palmer, who shot and killed the Cecil the lion with a crossbow during a hunting expedition earlier this month . His guides had allegedly lured the big cat, who had become famous for his black mane, out of Hwange National Park, and Palmer subsequently issued a statement detailing his regret, insisting he had no idea the lion had protected status.

Stage and screen vet Frank Langella is headed to HBO's upcoming TV adaptation of Robert Schenkkan 's Tony-winning play ALL THE WAY. According to Deadline , he will play Lyndon B. Johnson's mentor 'Senator Richard Russ ell ' opposite previously announced Bryan Cranston , who reprises his Tony-winning role as LBJ.
