One of Exeter's most anticipated annual events, Big Screen In The Park celebrates its fifteenth year this August. Taking place in Northernhay Gardens, this year's expanded anniversary event will treat locals and holidaymakers to cult classics, family favourites and new releases over five summer evenings.

"Curse of Frankenstein" , with the "creature" played by Christopher Lee, began a string of hit horror films for the British Hammer Studios and made Lee a star. After the death of Christopher Lee last week, it was interesting to see that so many of the stories about his death spent so much ink on his having been a participant in the Star Wars prequels and the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films.

The Witches of Eastwick was a movie in which Jack Nicholson was the devil. Witches of East End has absolutely nothing to do the movie, but is based on a book by a woman who figured name recognition would be good for sales.

Hull knew Lee and interviewed him in 1999 for a DVD Hull was making at the time for The Witch's Dungeon Classic Movie Museum. Hull met Lee through their mutual friend, the legendary horror movie star Vincent Price.
