Long before Christopher Nolan left his mark on the Batman franchise with the hugely successful Dark Knight trilogy, there was the 1989 film series first directed by Tim Burton and later taken over by Joel Schumacher. These four films -- Batman , Batman Returns , Batman Forever , and Batman & Robin -- featured a largely gothic and camp version of the caped crusader, which was a reflection of the comic book movies at the time.

After successful runs of The Wizard of Oz, Rear Window and The Sound of Music earlier this year, Fathom Events will partner with Turner Classic Movies again to bring the " TCM Presents " series to cinemas with eight unforgettable titles still to come in 2015. The remainder of the series will include Jaws 40th Anniversary on June 21 and 24, Double Indemnity on July 19 and 20, Psycho on September 20 and 23 and Dracula/Spanish Drcula on October 25 and 28 from Universal Pictures , Grease Sing-A-Long on August 16 and 19 and Roman Holiday on November 29 an December 1 from Each title in the "TCM Presents" series will run at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. local time both days.

Director Joe Dante is one of the "monster kids" - people who grew up watching the Universal horror films on TV in the 1950s. "A lot of people from that group ended up being movie producers and even running studios," said Dante, the director of such classic horror/comedies and sci-fi adventures as 1981's "The Howling," 1984's blockbuster "Gremlins" and 1987's "Innerspace."

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy confirmed that her longtime friend passed away at her home in Montecito, California, on 20 May. Trainor got her start in the film business as a producer's assistant on a number of movies including the 1979 Steven Spielberg film 1941, which her eventual husband, director Robert Zemeckis, wrote.
