SIXTH form colleges and secondary schools provided a memorable evening of entertainment in the regional finals of Rock Challenge last night. Southampton 's Regents Park Community College were pipped to top by spot by Yateley School's presentation "The Scheme" which told the story of the 7,000 children from British care homes who were shipped to Australia in the 1940s, 50s and 60s.

Actor and comedian Rick Ducommun, known for his role in the 1989 film "The 'Burbs," has died at age 62, his family said Thursday. Peter Ducommun said his brother died on June 12 at a Vancouver, British Columbia, hospital after suffering from complications due to diabetes.

Michael Myers is to return for a new movie in the 'Halloween' franchise. Dimension Films and Trancas Films have confirmed the iconic fictional character from the slasher films is set to return to the big screen for the first time since 2009, with Rob Zombie being replaced as director by Michael Myers.

The director, who has made a name for himself in Hollywood for horror films like the "Halloween" remake, will oversee the big screen adaptation of author Steve Stoliar's 1996 book "Raised Eyebrows: My Years Inside Groucho's House." Stoliar served as Marx's personal secretary for the final three years of his life.
