Andy Serkis broke Eddie Redmayne's winning run by scooping the award for Best Actor at the Empire Film Awards Oscar-winning The Theory Of Everything star Eddie Redmayne found himself in the unusual position of being pipped to an award tonight. Redmayne, who took the best actor Oscar and Bafta award for playing science genius Stephen Hawking, saw his clean sweep of award wins ended by Lord Of The Rings star Andy Serkis at the 2015 Jameson Empire Awards.

Some new details on the forthcoming 'Friday the 13th' TV series revealed that Jason Voorhees will not be the show's villain and that its creator has no idea why the franchise is popular. So there's a 'Friday the 13th' TV series on the way and initial reports indicated that it would not be like the previous show of the same name, which only had the title in common with the slasher film series.
