David Gulpilil and Aaron Pedersen are showing Charlie's Country at Blak Nite, and Jo Lawrie releases her album Talking Pictures today, in the midst of a tour with Paul Simon and Sting. Jon Faine's co-host is composer, musician, writer and broadcaster, Casey Bennetto.

Actors Jeff Goldblum, Vince Vaughn and Julianne Moore are shown in a scene from the new film "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" in which they come face to face with a T-Rex dinosaur. The dinosaurs in the film are created by computer graphics and large scale models.

Horror icon and zombie-film legend George Romero turned 75 yesterday, so there's no better time to celebrate the rich and varied career of one of America's most beloved maverick filmmakers than with a retrospective of his work. However, instead of pointing out the obvious films everyone's likely to watch this week , I thought it would be more interesting to highlight some of the other films in Romero's oeuvre.

NBC has announced that it will be renewing dramas "The Blacklist" , "Chicago Fire" , "Chicago P.D." , "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Grimm" for the 2015-16 season. For the 2014-15 season to date, NBC ranks #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics.

We all know the famous plot, a group of desperate survivors take refuge in an empty farm house, as corpses begin to reanimate, leaving graveyards across the countryside in search of fresh human flesh to devour. Ben tries to lead the group and stay ahead of the flesh-eating creatures outside, but things begin to spiral out of control when the reanimated dead surround the house, causing the group of survivors to panic.
