Bridesmaids co-stars Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy are to reunite in the all-female Ghostbusters sequel, its director Paul Feig has confirmed. Feig, who also worked with McCarthy on 2013's The Heat, went on to confirm it would be released on 22 July 2016.

A film like Mortdecai is a mystery: how on earth did it get made? Did someone decide the world was burning to see Johnny Depp as a comic-strip idea of a raffish upper-class Englishman in an art theft caper based on a series of cult novels from the 1970s? Or is Depp simply at the point where studios bend over backwards to indulge his whims? The second possibility seems the more likely, given that self-indulgence is what the film is explicitly all about. Lord Charlie Mortdecai, as he implausibly introduces himself, has the tastes of a dandy and the emotions of a three-year-old.
